Who She Is | A series of paintings, from chosen images, searched for, selected for what they offered beyond the predictable intended purpose. Moments taken, transitory rather than deliberate, which convey something more, something real, which intrigued me and allowed a dialogue to open.
These women now stand in muted, quiet, dark space, not in limbo, but vital and intriguing. Strong and contemplative. Revealed as such, to be considered for their strength, their reality. Inviting inquiry and invoking respect.
